Reflection: This artifact strengthened my ability to plan literacy instruction that is both text-centered and identity-affirming. I focused on prompts that move beyond recall. Those prompts invited students to connect belonging, culture, and land to their own thinking. The process reinforced that intentional questions support richer, more inclusive discussion.
